Halifax Regional Municipality
The focus of the Walkability Roadshow in Halifax Regional Municipality was
the downtown area of Halifax and the suburban neighbourhood of Clayton
Park. Since then work has been undertaken to move the process to the rural
area of Sheet Harbour through community charrettes. Plans are underway for
the revitalization of the downtown and they are incorporating their
fantastic active transportation plan with their transportation plan,
starting with links from trails to everyday walking places.
