Active & Safe Routes to School
Green Communities Canada's Active & Safe Routes to School program started in 1996. We have provided links to Canadian Active & Safe Routes to School programs below. These programs together form the Canadian Active & Safe Routes to School partnership.
*Until the end of June 2008, the Way to Go! School Program (www.waytogo.icbc.bc.ca) was the official partner in British Columbia. After this time, when funding from the Autoplan Broker Road Safety Program ended and the program discontinued, work on the School Travel Planning pilot continues through key individuals who were involved with management and coordination of Way to Go!
